Pedigree

We adopted Socks on July 2002 when she was 16 months old.  Sammy was really glad to see her, another big dog for the little ones to chew on.  She fitted right into our big family and adjusted quite well, that is until Daisy and she decided that both of them would be the Alpha female, which I might say is still being argued.  Socks’ has given us 2 beautiful litters of puppies.  Her first litter had 8 and her second litter surprised us with 13 puppies, what a sight to see.  Then 10 days later Daisy had her first litter and so we had a total of 18 puppies to fuss over and play with.  Now as I stated, Daisy and Socks both wants to be the Alpha female and they don’t mind letting each other know this.  But, as I also stated, Daisy is a very sweet and loving dog and to prove it she adopted the 2 smallest of Socks’ puppies and I guess you could say she saved their lives.  Socks just had too many to feed and Daisy just want to be a Mama, how sweet.  Of course, we didn’t tell Daisy whose babies she was taking care.
