SouthPaw Boxers  is located in Stedman, North Carolina, which is 12 miles east of Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg,  North Carolina on Hwy 24.  (Click on MAP above for directions and enter your address. Note: State Road 1006 is Maxwell Road.)

SouthPaw Boxers are breeders that specializes in American Kennel Club (AKC) purebred Boxer pups.  We are a reputable and responsible Breeder that breeds for the purpose of providing families with a healthy and happy family pet.  We help our clients understand that there is a mutual human/animal relationship that offers tremendous rewards, and the Boxer's most notable characteristic is its desire for human affection.  At SouthPaw Boxers we ensure that all our pups are healthy by not breeding our females every heat cycle, nor do we do in-line breeding (ex: Father-daughter, mother-son, sister-brother), this prevents genetic health concerns in future offspring.    Also, SouthPaw Boxers does not provide stud service outside our facilities and our males have DNA results on file with AKC.  SouthPaw Boxers is a "Disaster Preparedness" facility.

Our focus is to offer the right pup to the right owner and that every customer is satisfied.  We want our clients to know that working with SouthPaw Boxers is a more professional, less risky way to purchase an AKC purebred Boxer pup.  At SouthPaw Boxers, we not only improved the standards in North Carolina as a breeder, we exceeded them.  No other kennel in Cumberland County or surrounding counties comes close in matching our facilities.  We provide excellent customer service before, during and after the sale of the Boxer pup.  We feel that breeding a Boxer pup is a life long commitment, not just a financial transaction.

Our goal at SouthPaw Boxers is to breed our dogs according to AKC standards. "The ideal Boxer is a medium size,  square built dog, ranging from 21-25" in height, weighting 65-80 pounds, of good substance with a short back, strong limbs, and short, tight-fitting coat.  His well developed muscles are clean, hard and appear smooth under taut skin.  His movements denotes energy, his gait is firm, yet elastic.  His stride free and ground-covering, the carriage proud.  He combines strength and agility with elegance and style.  His temperament steadfast and tractable.  His chiseled head imparts to the Boxer a unique and very individual stamp.  The muzzle is a distinctive feature and great value is placed on its being of proper form and balance with the skull.  "The Boxer is a relatively fast growing dog and should not need supplementation of vitamins or calcium.  Over supplementation can cause bone and joint problems". (American Boxer Club)

At SouthPaw Boxers, we go to great lengths to insure that each of our Sires, Dams and puppies are healthy.  We ensure they receive proper veterinarian care through Dr. Berry Bostic, Veterinarian, DVM, who has been providing veterinarian services for 30 + years in Fayetteville at the Highland Animal Hospital, located at 3602 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC.

SouthPaw Boxers provides a health record of the pups vaccinations to its new owner along with AKC Registration papers at the time of purchase.  We guarantee the pup is healthy at time of sale with a seven (7) day health guarantee.   At the time of sale,  said pup is not guaranteed to be show or breeding quality, but is representative of its breed and is structurally and temperamentally suited to be a companion dog.  SouthPaw Boxers socializes each puppy and provides a stimulating environment so they are use to humans.   Bringing a new pup into the family takes on important responsibilities, even after it becomes an adult dog.

Our philosophy and vision, to help ensure that the pup we sell today is in a loving family environment as an adult dog.  We want every client to realize that the match of family and pup is a long-term commitment.

We believe that the better informed you are in selecting a Boxer for your family, the better the Boxer will perform its responsibilities as a guard dog, watch dog, companion, and most of all a family pet.  A Boxer is the happiest when he is with people, especially children.  They suit the need for household guardian, attractive companion, playmate, and loyal friend.  The Boxer is also a hearing guard dog, ever alert to protect his family, but tolerant of any stranger once he knows there is no danger. There's no doubt that pet ownership brings great joy, fulfillment and pleasure, but it also comes with a price.  Owners must plan for the unexpected emergency Vet visit; buy the best dog food you can afford for your Boxer; providing proper veterinarian care such as basic medical needs, including vaccinations and exams, proper grooming; carriers and crates to protect them from injuring themselves; bedding and housing, puppy training; cost of emergencies, serious illness.  Toys and treats are just a small list in raising a happy Boxer.  We must plan for the unexpected or unplanned vet visit so we can make sound decisions that comes from our heart and not our bank account.  As a Boxer reaches maturity, regular expenses become more predictable and will allow you to budget your finances more accurately and as your Boxer reaches its "Golden Years" it may require more visits to the vet.  As a pet owner, we must make long-term commitments to maintain our Boxers' quality of life at all stages of life.

Responsible Pet Care:  SouthPaw Boxers recommends micro-chipping all your pets and now offers this service to their customers with the "HomeAgain" advanced pet identification and retrieval system.  With micro-chipping identification, your lost pet can be shown the way home.  The case for having your pet implanted with a microchip is a strong one, as the statistics show that micro-chipping is the best, most reliable method of permanently identifying your pet.  More than 325 million pet owners have discovered just how true this is, as their pets were returned to them thanks to the micro-chip identification system; Don't let your pet become just another statistic.
